13 Day Sikkim Buddhist Tour
Sikkim is often regarded as the sacred heart of Buddhism, a land where the spiritual teachings of the Buddha are deeply woven into the fabric of daily life. It is believed that in the 8th century, Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) brought Buddhism to Sikkim with his 25 disciples, establishing the foundation for the faith that thrives here today. The Nyingma school of Vajrayana Buddhism has flourished in Sikkim ever since, and its influence is seen in the many monasteries, stupas, and sacred caves that dot the region. This rich spiritual heritage is what makes Sikkim a prominent and revered hub of Buddhist pilgrimage.
At Pure Buddhist Tour, we are dedicated to offering meticulously crafted and spiritually enriching itineraries that go beyond mere travel. Our 13-Day Sikkim Buddhist Tour is designed with a deep reverence for Dharma and a profound respect for the faith and devotion of Buddhist traditions. Each site we visit is chosen not just for its beauty, but for its ability to inspire mindfulness, reflection, and spiritual awakening. This tour is a journey of prayer, worship, and inner peace—an opportunity to engage with the purest essence of Buddhism.
Among the many Buddhist destinations we offer, Sikkim stands out as an essential pilgrimage for Sherpas, Tibetans, and Buddhists from Nepal and around the world.
